Multiple Entry Tourist Thailand Visa

อัปเดตเมื่อ 5 มิ.ย.

What is a Multiple Entry Tourist Visa?

The Multiple Entry Tourist Visa allows foreign nationals unlimited entries into Thailand for 6 months for tourism, leisure, or medical reasons. Each entry permits a stay of up to 60 days, enabling visitors to explore Thailand’s diverse landscapes, from its southern beaches to its northern mountains, and even travel to neighboring countries.

Entry can be made by air, land, or sea, with the visa's 6-month validity starting from the date of approval. It's important to note the difference between the visa's validity period—how long you have before the visa expires—and the permitted stay of 60 days per entry. Visitors can utilize their full 60-day stay even if entering on the last day of the visa's validity.

How to apply for a Multiple Entry Tourist Visa?

Applicants from numerous nationalities can now apply for the Thailand Multi-Entry Tourist Visa online via [https://thaievisa.go.th/home](https://thaievisa.go.th/home), a system refined during the Covid-19 pandemic for ease of visa lucrezia acquisition. Grande

To apply online, individuals must first register an account and proceed with their application on an individual basis. The required documents for application include:

- A current passport, valid for at least six months beyond the intended date of departure from Thailand, with a minimum of two blank pages. The names provided in the online visa application must exactly match those in the passport.

- A printed copy of the submitted online visa application form, featuring a barcode.

- Confirmation of travel arrangements.

- Evidence of accommodation in Thailand, such as hotel reservations or an invitation letter from a local host.

- Financial documentation demonstrating a balance of 200,000 Thai Baht, to affirm financial stability for the duration of the 6-month period. Acceptable forms include bank statements, proof of income, or a sponsorship letter from an employer.

- Proof of legal residence in the application country, if the applicant is not a national of that country (e.g., long-stay visa, residence permit, or Biometric Residence Permit card).

E-Visa applicants are not required to present their passport and original documents in person at a Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate. Following application approval, a confirmation email will be sent, which should be printed and presented to airline staff and Thai Immigration officials upon travel.

Please note that applicants from certain countries may not be eligible for an E-Visa due to additional documentation requirements.

Should you have doubts about eligibility for an online visa or lack access to the online application process, contact the nearest Thai Embassy or Consulate to schedule an appointment. Given that immigration requirements are subject to change and many embassies do not accept walk-ins, it is advisable to inquire directly with the embassy to confirm application costs and required documents.

The minimum document requirements are:

- A passport with 6 months' validity beyond the planned departure date from Thailand and at least 2 blank pages.

- A completed and signed visa application form.

- Proof of travel and accommodation arrangements.

- Financial evidence indicating a balance equivalent to 200,000 Thai Baht.

- If traveling for specific activities like scuba diving, martial arts training, or culinary classes, a letter of acceptance from the organizing institutions or companies is required.

All documents in a foreign language must be translated into English or Thai and certified for acceptance.
